Wanting more about the issues of life and how I’ve had the same headache for 3 days or how I blew up an air mattress in my husband’s room and I sleep in there every night now inhaling his scent?

I left the comments open on my last post because I was hoping to hear something positive.  I wanted to hear something good from folks other than the peanut gallery (because I don’t always like what they say) and I did.  Thanks MzNewy and bayoucreole.

I have been seeing a ton of bloggers doing gratitude posts and combined with my futile efforts to be happy about my life I had the thought that I should give that a try.  My birthday is in 30 days (there won’t be any giveaways or sponsor parties this year) and gratitude may be something to divert attention from depression and grief.

But I’ll get to that.  The important matter on the agenda today is that yesterday I cute my finger with a ridiculously sharp knife and had to get 7 stitches!  I bled through a stack of napkins and 3 band aids before I told the new lady that I was headed to the Emergency Room…..DIVA DOWN….CALL 911!!!!!!

I told my cousin and his wife last night that I’m going to Las Vegas for my birthday and those two gremlins invited themselves along. LOL  I don’t have any real siblings.  There are a few extra random step brothers and God sisters and best friends….but I don’t have a person who shares the same parents as me.  My relationship with my cousins is amazingly awesome though!  When my aunt passed away (she was the family historian) we got to pulling out old pictures and there are hundreds of me and my cousins growing up.  We have Easter pictures, Six Flags pictures, Christmas morning pictures, summer pictures, etc…  I feel like I can count on them and I’m happy that they’re mine.

I was expecting this particular one to follow me back to Chicago.  His wife is from there and her father wants them to run the family barbecue business but my cousin says the business plan and dividend structure is too unstable for his taste and he DOES NOT PLAY WITH HIS MONEY. LOL

But I don’t doubt that they’ll come visit…gotta love cousins.

Thanks for visiting Diva (in Demand).  My blog escapades have followed me across 4 states, 3 jobs, a business venture, and a new husband. There are no mini divas yet but I have loads of nieces and nephews to slobber and wipe their dirty hands on me.
