Have you seen the Fiber One commercial where the husband compares the taste of fiber to a grocery sack and the wife simply keeps quiet and lets him nibble on the Fiber One 80 calorie bar? I love it!
I had the same reaction when I got the box of Honey Squares cereal….imagine my face FIBER AND HONEY…not a combination I was familiar with. Well just like the husband in the commercial I was fooled. You know all those weigh ins I’ve been keeping you posted about? For the weight loss challenge at my job? Well I finished in 4th place and I credit it to tasty and low calorie foods like Fiber One’s Honey Squares cereal. I’m not a big milk fan but dry cereal is one of the best afternoon snacks I can think of.
For the last week I would fill up a little ziplock bag with cereal and munch on them as I sat at my desk instead of cookies or something else more harmful for me.

But that wasn’t even my favorite part of the gift pack I received. I love the pedometer! I was so excited to see that it came with a disc and usb cord. I had really high expectations of being able to hook it up to my computer and track my walking/running progress. Unfortunately my disc was unreadable so I’ve been unable to unlock all the potential of my pedometer. The basic features of it though have been phenomenal! It tracks daily steps, total steps, distance, and calories. Apparently I am a moving machine! This last week alone I’ve taken over 20,000 steps!!!!
The last gift in the pack was something I didn’t get the chance to try until today. I strapped on my neoprene smartphone holder with the armstrap and hit shuffle on my very weak running playlist and followed my friend Chele’s instructions….to go faster….GO FASTER. Instead of a pace of 4 on the treadmill, I kicked it up to 5. By the way I’m so exhausted right now LOL It was so much more comfortable running without the phone weighing my pocket down.
I’m really excited about this gift pack….so excited that I’m giving one away!
Your prize pack will contain:
1 box of Fiber One 80 Calories Cereal
1 sensor pedometer with USB connector to chart walking progress (hopefully your software will work)
1 neoprene iPod/smartphone holder with armstrap
Entering the giveaway is simple….just post a comment with suggestions for my running playlist. I need upbeat songs that make me want to keep pushing through the pain for a tight butt. You can post more than one song and each comment is a separate entry. That’s it!
The winner will be announced next Monday (August 8th)
