Earlier this month I received a Love VoxBox from Influenster, filled with products for me to sample. As a baker who prides herself on only using top quality and all natural ingredients, I’m ashamed to say that I have passed by Ghirardelli chocolate bars in the grocery store before now. The box came with a free Milk Chocolate Bar and 2 coupons for more. When I tell you that it was so delicious I wish I had one right now to eat for breakfast, I’m completely serious!
My real surprise came when I looked at the ingredients list! We’re aware that a lot of products claim to be all natural but not many chocolate products have a small list of pure ingredients. Small is the key. There isn’t a lot required to make chocolate you know.

I tried the Sausage-Egg Scrambles first because I have a co-worker who always eats scrambles and I thought if I liked them that I’d pass my review on to her. Well I passed my review on anyway because she loves potatoes….which was the one ingredient that soured my scrambles experience. I really don’t like potatoes for breakfast.
Next I tried the Sausage & Cheese biscuit sandwich and the Bacon & Cheese biscuit sandwich and I’m here to tell you that the biscuits are heavenly! Each box comes with two biscuits in half with fluffy eggs, cheddar cheese, and meat frozen on top. You put the two halves in a plate or thick napkin and microwave for 2 minutes. Then you put the halves together and instant mouth and tummy happiness!
Now it’s obvious at this point that I didn’t pay for mine but the price point on these puppies was pretty reasonable. At the local grocer they were $2.50 each and we all know that’s the cost of ONE breakfast sandwich or burrito from a fast food restaurant. Not only that but I guarantee you that your fast food biscuit can’t even tough this Grands! biscuit! It was what really sold the sandwich for me. I’d been reading about other argan oil products and people were going absolutely gaga over them. But I couldn’t get gaga over those prices. Then someone briefly mentioned that Sally Beauty Supply carried a much more cost effective alternative that was just as good as those luxury brands. But that wasn’t even my favorite part of the gift pack I received. I love the pedometer! I was so excited to see that it came with a disc and usb cord. I had really high expectations of being able to hook it up to my computer and track my walking/running progress. Unfortunately my disc was unreadable so I’ve been unable to unlock all the potential of my pedometer. The basic features of it though have been phenomenal! It tracks daily steps, total steps, distance, and calories. Apparently I am a moving machine! This last week alone I’ve taken over 20,000 steps!!!!
The last gift in the pack was something I didn’t get the chance to try until today. I strapped on my neoprene smartphone holder with the armstrap and hit shuffle on my very weak running playlist and followed my friend Chele’s instructions….to go faster….GO FASTER. Instead of a pace of 4 on the treadmill, I kicked it up to 5. By the way I’m so exhausted right now LOL It was so much more comfortable running without the phone weighing my pocket down.
