I woke up this morning and before I raised up out the bed good, the mister told me it was National Blogging Month.

There’s such a thing as National Blogging Month?  I thought folks came up with that as a name to motivate them to post something every day.  Well now that I’m awake I eased on over to Lady Lee’s spot and I’ll be damned….NATIONAL BLOG POSTING MONTH!  I CAN DO THIS!  Y’all hear that?  Original Diva is going to blog every day during the month of November.  Isn’t November an odd month to do something like that…considering the holidays and all?  Then again y’alls mouths are watering just thinking about the Original Diva Family Thanksgiving post.  Shame on y’all.

Back to the subject at hand.  I have good friends.  I really do.  I once said that you need to know what your friends are good for so that you know who to call when you want something specific.  You need to know who to call when you’re pissed off and want someone to co-sign.  You need to know who to call when you want to cry and they’ll pat your head and tell you it’ll be alright.  You need to know who to call when you have a crazy ass idea and need a co-pilot to ride along.  When the mister and I were just dating, he was the person to call for a kick in the ass.  Sometimes you don’t want a kick in the ass.  Sometimes you want a cheerleader with a bunch of rahs and pom poms.

I need a pep talk….without having to go into all the details about why I need one.  Is that strange?

Moving on again….one of my sorority sisters is getting married.  YAY!  She asked me for a little help and I’m so excited.  I can SEE her vision.

I lurk on a lot of blogs but this month, in addition to posting every day, I’m going to comment on all of the blogs I read.

I need to start working on my holiday card list today…in the meantime….I still need a pep talk.
