There will be no cabbage or black eyed peas on my kitchen! No sireebob. LOL
There will be plenty of gumbo though. I’m in the process of making it now……so be careful if you’re going out tonight. I don’t wanna lose any of you over foolishness.

I won’t say alot about it today because the site is up and I want everyone to check it out for themselves. My little sister in spirit is embarking on a journey and she’s sharing it with the world (really I’m holding her accountable by making her share and giving her a piece of my world). LOL
So it’s official….THE CARYN PROJECT is up and running. You can get to it directly from here by clicking the button on the right sidebar. Her first post is up introducing herself. So go check her out…..welcome her to the Diva (in Demand) family……encourage her……and go back often to check her progress. And you never know…..you might just find yourself on a journey of your own!
I am excited to try something new today. I plan on really trying to post these every Tuesday because they are cute and fun!
I reached out to my sister circle to get a little help and some anonymity. LOL So don’t assume you know who said what……and if you want to participate next Tuesday, send an email to originaldiva@divaindemand.com with what you want on your Post It Note and look for it in a week. On with the party!
Thank you to all of the people who stopped in on the 12 Days of Diva’s Birthday to help me celebrate. I’m looking forward to all of the joys and journeys that 33 will bring for me.
Keeping with the tradition of my lessons of life…..the 33rd lesson of life is to never have regrets. For my long time readers, you’ll notice that I’m changing some things around here. There is no more real anonymity. There are pictures now! I used to be very concerned with being anonymous because I didn’t want any of my past transgressions to hurt any of my future success. But I decided that I’m not ashamed of anything I’ve done in the past or where I’ve come from. I have no regrets. Regrets will keep you from trying all of the things you want to try in life! And that’s the real deal! My little sister in spirit is embarking on a new journey in 2010 to find her focus. She is going to try all of the things she wants to do and discover which one she’s good at. A JOURNEY OF SELF DISCOVERY! I’m really looking forward to it because I remember when I went on mine in 2006. What I really hope for her is that she doesn’t lose her direction or give up like I’ve done. I’m so excited about it that I’ve invited her to blog about it right here on my site. So in the new year, be on the lookout for a new section of the blog called “The Caryn Project”. I’d love it if I could get some more people interested in their own personal journey of self discovery. Let me say this….I KNOW that discovering yourself costs money. I have been sitting here all day comparing floral design school tuitions to decide which might be better for me. I started when I lived in Oregon and I really want to finish. I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO DO CASKET SPRAYS. I know that sounds like an odd goal…..but it’s mine. I can put together all types of centerpieces and bouquets…..but when I know how to do a casket spray then I will feel accomplished.
If anyone out there is thinking about doing something similar….finding out what they like and what they’re good at….do it to have fun. Trying new things is no fun if you’re just sitting up with a list of things you have to be perfect at.
Back to what I was saying!!!! I veered off topic. Thanks to all the people who visited and left comments during my 12 Days. The list of items on the list can be found on my sidebar. As a generous gesture for all the love, I have a free gift to give away!!!! (YAY FOR FREE GIFTS). This is my first time using the comments as the entry so let me explain how I chose a winner. I took all of the comments left during the 12 days (in order from Day 1 through Day 12) and counted them. There were 26. I then used a random number generator to come up with a number between 1 and 26. The chosen number was 16. Here is the 16th comment:
My mother in law was really into herbal essence last summer. I’ve read and heard a lot about them. Shea butter is so nice to my ends, too
CONGRATULATIONS TJ!!!!
You have won an assortment of dipped fruit…..oranges, strawberries, and apple slices.

Fresh orange wedges, strawberries and Granny Smith apple wedges dipped in gourmet chocolate!
I will email you with the details in the upcoming week.
