Wake up call…Just like the moment Dap rang the bell at Mission College and demanded that people figuratively open their eyes….stop putting so much focus and life energy into minor and inconsequential matters and instead concentrate on what matters in life. Wake up calls take on a multitude of shapes and sizes. For some it’s a health scare. For others it’s an unexpected financial disaster. There are even those whose wake up calls come in the form of emotional breakdowns. Very rarely (and especially if you’re luck) it can be positive and uplifting in origin.
