Under normal circumstances music puts me at ease.  So when I’m having a bad day or just feeling uncomfortable in general, I put the ipod on shuffle and just let it flow.  That’s not working today. NOT AT ALL.  I’m on song #660 and I think only ONE song made me stop and pop it a little bit.
 
Do you have any songs that lift you up?  Not necessarily uplifting songs (about flying or believing) but just a song that comes on that may make you do ya little booty bounce or something.
 
I’m going to try shuffle again and let’s see what the first ten to come up are.

Human Beat Box – Fat Boys

Did I tell y’all that I saw Krush Groove for the first time in my entire life 3 weeks ago?  I had NEVER EVER EVER EVER seen it before.  I know, I know…”all black people have seen Krush Groove.” Bite me!  I just learned how to fry chicken on Monday too.  NOW WHAT! Hell.  One thing I found interesting about the movie is that for a long time I’ve been watching Run’s House and trying to figure out who those damn kids look like (and yes I’ve seen their mother).  But in the movie, young Run looks EXACTLY like his oldest son does now.  Amazing.

He did an amazing job on this remake.  I’m so glad I bought the cd when it came out.  I even like this one better than his first one.

I haven’t heard his new song but I’ve read on gossip blogs about his issues with Jay-Z and Def Jam.  He makes a mighty good damn point.  How are you going to promote me if you’re focused on promoting you????

Does anyone else have this cd?  You should.  Donnell made some awfully good grown folks music for this one.

Did y’all see her family on the BET Awards Tuesday night?  Now her oldest son Ross……that mojoker is bringing sexy back for real! Oh my goodness!  I was so focused on him I almost missed the fact that Rhonda ain’t comb her hair.
