Where do I start. Wow. Every year on my birthday I come up with a list of goals that I want to attempt before my next birthday. For the past several years my list has been solely dedicated to professional/sorority things….things that didn’t necessarily benefit me or contribute to the growth of Original Diva. So this year’s list changed. Original Diva wants to improve her quality of life…in every facet. Funny….today I was almost hesitant to post something so personal; worried about my readers. The great thing about it being a free world is that you can close the window and stop reading at any time.

I have been seeing this Applebee’s commerical for their Maple Butter Blondie and I just had to try it. I love blondies!
After trying it this weekend I want you to know that this is the perfect Valentine’s dessert. It comes to your table on a skillet still sizzing with ice cream slowling melting it’s way onto the pan, a few nuts sprinkled on top and a cup of the maple butter sauce so that you can drizzle as little or as much as you want onto you dessert. It is HUGE. Definitely enough for two people.
It may not seem super romantic to take your sweetness to Applebee’s so go to that fancy restaurant for dinner and then stop by Applebee’s just for dessert. It’s worth it.
