In case you live under a rock, I am a Dallas Cowboys fan. PERIOD! So in the spirit of a true fan I made a bet with dear old Sonny “I’m so proud I’m from Philly that I make myself giggle” Redd. Dammit if I ain’t lose. So we went for it and did double or nothing for the Cowboys/Eagles game on Christmas day. That bastard ass Cowboys defense let me down once again. DAMMIT! If it ain’t Drew Bledsoe it’s a janky ass defensive line that can’t hold against a sneak pass play. So I owe Mr. Redd TWO posts. Do you know how hard this was for me Sonny? Do you! So here is my first of two posts. They are supposed to be posted on his site but I don’t dare clutter his site with something as insignificant as the Eagles on Founder’s Day.

I got a promotion folks. The promotion I’ve been asking for for 2 years. There was no grand announcement or email. Actually no one even told me. I went online to look up my bonus stub and noticed that my pay increased. So I went in to the system and checked my grade level and title and there it was…..a promotion.
Yesterday I interviewed for an internal job that would require me to move to Maryland and be promoted 3 grade levels which is against company policy (no more than 2). Hmmmm this new promotion puts me into that 2 range now. I’m planning on letting the hiring manager know that when we speak again on Tuesday.
Congrats to me.
