I’m sitting here this morning listening to J. Hudson tear up One Night Only, almost in tears, trying to come up with a topic to write about today. This morning while I was getting ready for work I heard the story about the man who saved a college student from being killed by a train yesterday and I cried. The story really moved me; especially when the reporter said once the man dived down his two daughters immediately began to cry and when he came up he had to shout for the clapping and cheering crowd to shut up so that he could talk to his girls. Then they reported that Donald Trump gave the man a check for $10,000. I’m tearing up again just thinking about it dammit.

You know….after days like this I have a hard time listening to people downtalk good samaritans who “happen” to be rich. I know alot of people who think The Donald is a pompous azz. Those people would most likely say “he only gave him $10K? He has millions. He could have given him more.” Reality = he didn’t have to give him anything. I’m so moved that he gave him $10K that……well that I cry.

Since I’m touting the finer qualities of The Donald, are there any other Apprentice watchers out there? It starts Sunday and I am HYPE! I can not wait! You can count on commentary in this joint. I’m going to see if I can get my diva friend Solitaire to join in. She’s a bigger fan than I am. I have two favorite seasons for two very different reasons. Remember the year he had the college educated people vs. those that had only finished high school? What other millionaire gives a group of high school only educated people the opportunity to win a job running one of his projects. SERIOUSLY. I’m not doubting their abilities or intellect. It just doesn’t happen very often in this country. Not only give them a chance but one of them made it to the final TWO. You listening. FINAL TWO! Yeah she’s hustling bedazzlers on HGTV now but hell, even that gig is paying more than alot of us are making on the every day 9 to 5.

My other favorite……y’all know. “Mr. Trump this show is called The Apprentice, not the Apprenti. There can be only one!” That damn Randall! WOOOOOOOOO!!! The deal making moment for me was when that brother as asked why he was a better candidate than Rebecca and his answer was “Mr. Trump, Rebecca WRITES about business. I RUN THEM.” WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I can not wait. I wonder if the new profiles are up yet…..going to look. BRB

They are! Ladies and gentleman, The Apprentice Season 6 Candidates. On paper, James looks pretty impressive. That Fortune 500 experience will come in handy if he makes it closer to the finals when the bigger projects come into play. Jenn got her MBA from the University of Phoenix? Hmmmmm. This sister, Muna looks pretty fierce with the proficiency in several different languages. I hope that helps her. One of the candidates is an Olympic Gold Medalist! DAMN!

Does anyone else ever wonder, if these people are so rich and successful now, why do they want to work for Donald Trump?
